Scenic View Ranch is located on 300 acres of fenced private land in Northeast Iowa in Monona. The lodge is cozy with plenty of sleeping space, and there is a kitchen with everything you need to prepare the game from your hunt, or use the grill outside if that’s your preference.

So what can you hunt at Scenic View? Plenty of big game.

From hogs, rams, elk, white tail deer, American buffalo, and exotics, you’re sure to find something of interest. And, since this is a private operation, you don’t need a license.

Cooks Bison Ranch

Cooks Bison Ranch is a must see spot if you’re anywhere near the Wolcottville, IN area in the northeast of the state. The ranch is 83 acres of prime hunting land. But, don’t let the name fool you. While bison are aplenty, there’s also deer and turkey.

Unlike many other hunting spots we usually feature, there’s no lodge. Don’t fret though, as your hunting fee includes the cost of a nearby hotel.

Ringneck Ranch

Ringneck Ranch is located in north central Kansas in Tipton. It offers a truly huge hunting area of over 10,000 acres of land!

What makes Ringneck interesting is that it specializes in bird hunts. From pheasant and dove, to prairie chicken and turkey, if you are in to hunting birds, Ringneck is a dream come true.

Trophy Ranch, Inc.

Trophy Ranch, Inc. is a private hunting area in Michigan which means you don’t need any special hunting licenses. There are several types of hunts available:

Don’t let the name of this great hunting ranch fool you. While they certainly have some fine whitetail deer hunts, they also have elk and exotics available too. Aside from some of the best deer and elk hunting there is in Missouri, you’ll love the accommodation.

The Double R Guest Ranch in Mullen, NE is run by Jim and Pat Bridges. They have created much more than just a hunting ranch though.

At the Double R, you can deer hunt, fish, partake in ranch activities, hike, bird watch, canoe & kayak, and more. As far as the deer hunting goes, they have some of the best whitetail and mule deer hunts you’ll find in the area. This is one ranch you won’t want to pass by.

Rolling Plains Adventures

Rolling Plains offers of the premier pheasant and duck hunting in North Dakota. With over 17,000 acres of hunting land, there’s plenty of game to be had.

However, if you prefer game with four legs, they have deer and coyote hunts as well. And, there’s some very large Walleye for those who want to spend a little of their time fishing.

Diamond A Ranch

Diamond A Ranch is Gregory, South Dakota is built of 5,000 acres of beautiful South Dakota agricultural land. The owners have carefully created a landscape and habitat at Double A that caters to wild pheasants. That means if you want an amazing wild pheasant hunting experience, this is the place to go.

Trying to narrow down all of the awesome hunting ranches in the very large area known as the Midwest to a short list of only ten spots was no easy task.
